Jakarta Provincial Government keeps improving the service for disabled people. One of the efforts is preparing Transjakarta bus shelter for disabled people.
There are 75 shelters can be used for disabled people. It’s being improved now
“There are 75 shelters can be used for disabled people. It’s being improved now,” said Budi Kaliwono, Transjakarta Director, Wednesday (10/19).
The shelter construction involves private company. One of the models is at Balai Kota shelter. The investment and toilet operational are funded by ads.
Transjakarta Launched 116 New Buses“We still developing the tap in system for the toilet. It’s purchased Rp 2,000,” he added.
He continued that the shelters will have green sign on its pole. Green sign means the shelters are friendly for disabled people.
